i guess i didnt tell anyone that i wrote a malay poem today! whahaha.. within 10 mins i think. well, not that we have a choice cos we had to write one during the drama course today. *shows off*

okays, we had to write what comes to our mind using colours, either merah, biru or black. i chose biru. anyways, sharm tried direct translation of malay to english but it's equally bad it seems. nyehs. i tried.

ombak [waves]

bagaikan keindahan alam semulajadi ciptaanNya
[like the beauty of nature of His creations]

lautan yang luas dan deras mahupun langit yang lapang
[widespread sea and far and beyond sky]

begitulah perasaanku
[those are my feelings and emotions]

ombak yang bergelombang melafazkan kehidupanku ini
[waves that wave expresses this life of mine]

banyak yang ku perolehi, kehilangan begitu
[i have obtained a lot, gone just like that]

walaupun tenang, banyak yang ku sembunyikan
[though calm, a lot that i hide]

senyumanku hanya buat sementara
[my smile is temporary]

biru.. biru.. biru..
[blue.. blue.. blue..]

tiada siapa yang memahami onak duri kehidupanku ini
[no one understands my ups and downs]

termasuk kamu.
[including you]

if you had noticed, iambic pentameter nor onomatopoeia nor assonance etc existed within those lines of malay words. hehs.
